Today, United Way has 1,800 local affiliates in more than 40 countries, raising $5.1 billion annually, with 11 million donors and 2.5 million volunteers. |

| As CEO of Do Something, Nancy Lublin encourages teenagers to harness their energies and dedicate themselves to the causes they care about most. Each month Do Something launches inventive campaigns that inspire members to get involved by participating in supply drives, starting their own campaigns, and passing their skills on to others. Prior to Do Something, Lublin founded Dress for Success, now a global franchise that provides interview dress and career development training to women in need. |
The 2012 Summit Agenda will feature:
- New research. CECP will preview new corporate benchmarking information from the 2012 edition of Giving In Numbers, which will be released this fall.
- Global focus. On June 6th CECP will share the results of the public comment period for the upcoming Global Corporate Giving Initiative, which surveyed giving practices in 17 countries to update the single, practical definition of what constitutes a corporate charitable contribution.
- Networking and candid conversation. The conference is limited to senior giving professionals. Breakout sessions provide interactive opportunities to hear from peers on what works and what doesn’t in bringing innovative ideas to life. Topics include impact investing, using social media to bring crowds to your causes, skills-based volunteering, and much more.
- CECP Excellence Awards. CEOs from this year’s two winning companies and winning nonprofit will share the stories of their programs and answer audience questions, followed by an evening celebratory reception.
